Our recently relocated clients sought to breathe new life into their previously rented DC row house. They envisioned a haven for their bustling family, a place that felt familiar and comforting during the extensive renovations on their larger residence.
With just seven months to redesign, refresh, and furnish this project, our team embraced the challenge with creativity and zeal. Our dedicated project management and design teams oversaw every aspect, from conceptualization to custom fabrication and installation. Our amazing clients were decisive and made for seamless project.

Our endeavor unfolded as an eclectic European-inspired transformation of a 2,500 sq ft Modern Victorian row house set in the heart of Logan Circle — a canvas waiting to be adorned with comfort and worldly charm. Each room received special attention, ensuring its unique character contributed to an overarching aesthetic, making the home feel collected from family heirlooms and fresh in perspective. — THE LIVING ROOM —
The clients fell in love with our Bromley Sofas, part of our new furniture line, while staying at one of our family’s guest cottages in Maine. They were particularly taken with our signature fabrics and the exceptional comfort of the Bromley sofas. This wasn't their primary residence, so we aimed to create a balanced design that mixed high and low elements.
To achieve this, we incorporated a jute rug as a budget-friendly find paired with a luxurious bone-inlay checkered lamp as a splurge. We also revitalized family heirlooms, including an early campaign chair. The classic bay window poised the perfect place for a spot of chess. We wanted to bring the outside in with a custom stone game table surrounded by our client's grandmother’s dining chairs and layered with floor-to-ceiling drapery in a classic Rose Tarlow stripe.
Our goal was to infuse a touch of DC glamour while maintaining a sense of lightness. The addition of an edged glass coffee table and 18th-century French mirrors, collected during our travels, perfectly captures this essence. The result is a thoughtfully curated space that exudes both elegance and comfort.

Our custom product centerpiece, the Bromley Sofa is an amalgamation of eras and styles. Its angular arms are designed for lounging. Inspired by Italian mid-century design and draped in English-style slipcovers, it's both streamlined and stately.
This tessellated mid-century lamp features a custom, sheer linen shade with ribbing that draws the eye to the bold black and ivory bone base.

This charming 19th C. Candle Stand Table showcases a rich, aged patina that speaks to its history. The simple yet elegant design adds a touch of antique charm to any room.
A modeled study of a male foot, showcasing intricacy of veining and cuticles. Signed by C Fuller, modeled 1975. A partner to "Modeled Clay Hand." Resting atop a clay platform, this sculpture is intended for styling. Patina consistent with age.

This Baroque side table boasts true craftsmanship with fluted sides, wavy oak grain pattern, and hand sculpted XV French style legs. A petite metal door pull emphasizes the rustic oak storage door in front. Solid oak table top with wood dowel joinery.

— THE DINING ROOM —
We decided to repurpose an old cabinet from the client's previous home, originally removed to make way for built-ins. After repainting it, we transformed it into a stylish display cabinet beside the fireplace, showcasing an array of knickknacks collected by the clients during their travels. To complement this, we added a VV Cinquanta suspension light by Astep from Rewire LA Lighting, which provided a playful touch that balanced beautifully with a late 18th-century French mirror over the fireplace.
A custom Roweam Peg table, set to launch this fall, became a focal point in the room. We also reupholstered some chairs in a sophisticated two-tone design featuring leather seats and fabric backs. Additionally, we sourced a fun and unique piece, the Taliesin Chair by Frank Lloyd Wright, upholstered in British wool houndstooth fabric.

NBL Dining Table. Designed to add a sense of modernity to our 200+ year old Coaster’s Chance Cottage, this table features unique leg turnings complemented by stunning custom stain options that accentuate the natural wood grain.
Designed in the 1970's by manufacturer Javor Pivka in Yugoslavia. These chairs are quadrangular in shape and made from beech wood. Reupholstered in a Hickory brown leather and 100% linen beige-and-black plaid houndstooth.
Etching entitled "Entree D'impasse". New matte in vintage frame. Signed by Belgian artist Kurt Peiser (1887-1962).
Weighted sterling silver salt and pepper shakers with engraved band detail. These feature a twist cap and glass bottle internals. Stamped, slight patina.
Hand carved African Maasai tribal bust. This oiled bust is sculpted out of ebony. Exquisite patina. Consistent with age.
Primitive, early 19th Century, bee hive butter bowl with beautiful patina and hand carved banding detail. Wear consistent with age and past use.

Handmade paper mache bowls, also known as Naga grain containers, in a variety of sizes. Minimal and versatile, these durable and light weight bowls have a wabi sabi aesthetic, popular in the region of India and cohesive in any interior.

— THE DAUGHTER’S ROOM —
The daughter envisioned a room that felt like an enchanting Garden of Eden, bursting with vibrant colors. To bring her dream to life, our design team crafted a simple yet elegant canopy bed adorned with custom hand-stamped drapes. The bed features a Victorian-influenced headboard, complemented by mix matched English pine side tables.
To add a touch of timeless charm, we layered the side tables with a 1950 Erik Warna Gk14 Lamp. A mid-century daybed, customized with fabulous Zak & Fox fabric, completes the look, creating a harmonious blend of historic elegance and contemporary style. The result is a whimsical, colorful retreat that perfectly captures the essence of an idyllic garden sanctuary.

Yellow and blue are his favorite colors, so we decided to embrace this complementary color palette, incorporating fun pops of checkered patterns, stripes, and florals to create a balanced yet striking visual impact. We seamlessly integrated heirloom pieces from our clients, including an 18th-century pier mirror and an English writing desk, to add a touch of timeless elegance.
For the furnishings, we chose budget-friendly rugs from Nordic Knots and Parachute bedding, ensuring comfort without compromising style. We customized a headboard and drapery to match the room's aesthetic. Our creative director, Blair Moore, added a personal touch by spontaneously creating a large art piece for the wall during the installation, adding a unique and dynamic element to the space.

Our clients owned a cherished charcoal and pen flautista piece, which they wanted to feature in their third-floor bedroom, adjacent to another living room and bathroom. Given the intimate size of this room, our goal was to create an elegant and serene retreat.
We achieved this by incorporating a custom Roweam headboard, carefully curated vases and vessels, and luxuriously soft bedding. The design focused on neutral tones, enhanced by subtle pops of mauve, to cultivate a calming yet sophisticated atmosphere.
