We showed off our new Maine cottage, we hope you didn’t miss it! But if you did, here it is. Also, you can now visit our site and book a stay up in Cutler, don’t sleep on this. Openings are first come, first serve and we’re thinking we might go fast.
We’re swooning over this MUD Residence by Kerstens near the forest of Heverlee in Belgium. "The original style elements from the 60’s villa are reinterpreted in a contemporary and honest way, yet reviving the authentic details and materialization. Natural and almost weathered materials add contrast to the spaces—in line with the philosophy of MUD and their creators. Tactile details, refined yet roughly finishes and contrasting textures trigger all senses for a full immersed experience. A well curated collection of design classics, authentic vintage pieces and interesting art finishes the interior and translates the soul and experiences of the inspirers behind MUD."
We went to Brimfield! And we highly, highly recommend visiting in September. If you need vintage shopping tips, we’re spilling all of our secrets here.
A new book is coming about the Kennedy White House restoration, for history buffs it could be a really interesting read.
Feeling very inspired by the Stanley Residence by Williams Burton Leopardi. We love the material choices in this space—note the plaster staircase—it’s epic. The indoor outdoor living/pool patio is wonderful as well.
A true defense of a more is more philosophy! This has us thinking about pairing some of our favorite portraits with an ornate wallpaper.
Tour this wild holiday home from Barracuda Interiors. The iron and fabric chairs in the living room are really interesting—the house also has cool indoor-outdoor living spaces.
