What's Coming in 2021
That fresh start feeling a new year offers is the best. We’re overwhelmed with gratitude for the unexpected wins we had last year, but we couldn’t wait to set new intentions for 2021. Even though the team was off this week, we’re excited to share all of the new things you can expect from Moore House. Since we’ve gotten used to making lemonade out of lemons, we’re feeling pretty good about what’s in store. Here’s what to watch out for:
Our Moore House 2021 intentions
-Launch our new shop in November. This is a big one for us and something that we’re SO excited about. As you know, we do a ton of custom work for clients, so this will allow us to help more people decorate their homes—even if they’re not design clients. It will feature curated vintage pieces and custom designs by our team and local artisans.
-Build out of our new warehouse. Watch out, we’ve finally got storage space!
-Travel more. This is more of a hope, but fingers crossed for all of us getting to travel in this new year.
-Planning Mum and Dad’s 60th. Shhh! We’re so excited to celebrate these two. With any luck we’ll be going skiing in Méribel, France or Vancouver in January of 2022. Our fingers are crossed!
-Planning Blair’s wedding…finally! Why is it always the person planning events for others never has time to do it for themselves?! But seriously, Blair and her fiancé have been together for over a decade so we can’t wait to make this happen.
-Launching Moore House Maine in summer 2021. Our first cottage up in Maine will be our Steamboat Wharf Cottage, the Cutler Hotel will open in 2022, and the Lobster Shack will open after that!
-A new cottage in Tiverton is opening 2021. Expect the same Moore House style, but a cool new location.
-The Farm goes under the hammer. Well, it’s always been a work in progress but we’re really rolling up our sleeves and getting the farm fully operational in this coming year.
-On a personal level we’re all hoping to be healthier; and doing more hiking, dancing, laughing, paying it forward, and giving back this year.
