Read MoreHow we’ve made it into the twelfth month of 2022 already, we have no idea but, here we are! It’s been an insanely busy year for our design team and we’ve still got a lot to accomplish before we wrap up for our annual holiday break… Panic-attacks aside, we’re taking one of our last blogs of the year to tell y’all a bit Moore* about one of our most prevalent project categories AND reveal some of the design goodness our team has been dreaming up for the Cabin we’re working on in Telluride, CO. She’s epic and we’re totally swooning because our clients are game for all of the patterns and colors we’re pulling.

Now, if we said we hadn’t been thinking about and planning for the holidays just yet — we’d be lying! We’re coming up on Thanksgiving, but we’re recent converts to the camp getting a jump on our holiday shopping done early so we can really enjoy the season for all its festivities. As usual, we’ve made a list (and checked it twice) of some of our favorite things that make unique gifts for the people you love. From the design enthusiast to the local shopper we’ve done our best to cover all the bases. Happy perusing!
Read MoreWe’re back with our second RTRU, it has an acronym now, and we are thinking this content might be worthy of its own recurring column. That said, Round Top is one of our most important sourcing trips of the year — so important in fact that we’re starting to make our way down to texas multiple times per year. This antique show (we say “show”, but to be honest, it’s really its own town) is one of our favorites to attend because of its “one-stop-shopping” nature. The almost excessive variety, high quality, and unparalleled uniqueness of pieces at Round Top this past October, and every time we make the trip is so darn good that we feel like we’d be doing y’all a disservice if we didn’t share the goodness.
Read MoreIt’s that time of year again… the season of entertaining is officially upon us, and being the hostesses that we are, we’re totally here for it! Though we may be well-seasoned when it comes to throwing a memorable dinner party, we know how very intimidating and overwhelming entertaining can be! Lucky for you we’re here to demystify some of that seemingly complex, aesthetic party goodness. We’ve compiled six tips to help you elevate any entertaining you may have ahead of you over the next few months.
Read MoreWe’re huge art gals around here and for some reason the change of season has us feeling compelled to take a moment to share our thoughts on the subject…Again! So, if you missed Pt. 1 — check it out here, and if not, here’s ‘a bit Moore’ info on our favorite subject. We’ve said it before, and at the risk of sounding like a broken record, we’ll say it again — but we believe that art is an integral piece of any successful interior space.

If you’re new here, at the end of each month(ish) we round up all of the articles, designs, reveals, and more that have inspired us in the past thirty days. Needless to say, it was a very busy summer so it’s crazy to think we’re nearly into October. We’re always exploring the depths of pinterest, instagram and the various publications we’re subscribed to, but in addition to sharing what caught our attention this month we’ve got quite a few internal updates for you all. Oh, and happy first weekend of Fall! May the farm stands, apple picking and pumpkin everything commence.
Read MoreThough the first day of Fall isn’t technically until September 22nd, we’re all for getting into the Fall swing of things... Besides, faux Pumpkins have been in Michaels since like July 20th, so we know we can’t be the only ones ready to embrace the change of seasons. Cringe? Sorry not sorry, we’re spooky gals around here! As we mentioned the other day, for many of us here in New England the Fall season's arrival means pumpkin picking and hay-bale rides… However, what we really love about Fall is all the yummy food that can be made from local farm-fresh ingredients! We’ve pulled together a healthy handful of cozy recipes to give you all a push into the autumnal spirit.

We hope you enjoy these updates, and are getting as excited about this next chapter as we are.
Read MoreThough we may be a little extra and are in the truest meaning behind the name of this blog “a bit Moore”, we love crafting all sorts of beautifully creative cocktails. We first made this cocktail on a picturesque summer afternoon at our Coaster’s Chance Cottage in Maine and have been ruminating about the creation ever since. It’s a relatively simple “mixy” as far as craft libations go, but it’s sure to satisfy all those sultry end-of-summer cravings. We named her after the woman who is pretty much as close to the spirit of the village of Cutler as you can get in a worldly form. She’s the Coastal Grandmother, a wealth of maritime knowledge, and one of the sweetest “Mainers” we’ve come to know yet — she is, none other than our lovely neighbor Delia. We created this drink in Maine, so it’s only fitting that it’s named after her. She’s sweet, tart, and can definitely come on a bit strong — if we can be so bold, it’s basically a Coastal Grandmother in a cocktail.
